Most LED strips come with 3M adhesives, which can damage your paint while you’re peeling them off. However, if you use quality double-sided tape – it won’t damage your wall paint & will surely last longer. 

2. Command Strips 

If you don’t want any residue on your wall when you remove the LED light strips, you can use command strips. Command strips will help you hang your LED light strips safely & they won’t leave any residue when you’re peeling off the strips. 3. Mounting Putty

You can also use a mounting putty (Amazon) to hang your LED strip on the wall. Mounting putty is the only adhesive that is reusable. Also, you can peel off the mounting putty whenever you want & it won’t leave any mark on the wall.
